My mom and I got to visit Alberta this summer, crisscrossing from Edmonton to Banff one day, and visiting between family the next. Behind the whirlwind of us trying to fit a decade of visits and fondness into five vacation days was the backdrop of the province, and the breathtaking Rockies.
Our flight left at 8 in the morning, and we needed to be at Pearson at 6, so we left home at 4. This girl did not get any sleep, thus the bleary eyes. I had an iced coffee almost immediately after this. This was the view from a Starbucks. A Starbucks! I of course had a pumpkin spice latte, my first of the season. Going up the gondola, Banff National Park.
Here’s me and my Mom in the most tourist-y photo of us ever taken.
